Ah
yes, another FAQ page. However one would assume if you are here,
reading this page, you still have a connection to the network. Below we
will breifly go through a few common questions and how to solve these
issues. If there is a concern not met on this page and you feel it may
be helpful, OR you want more details on a posted question, please let
us know.
Q: When checking my email, I get a window asking me if I trust stalker.com. What is this and should i trust it?
A. Yes, you can trust the security certificut from
bigmail.mesaairnet.com. This is our email server software. Though it may be
poorly named by todays standards, it is safe to accept and trust when
asked. This kind of security question will only pop up when using an
email client (i.e. Outlook, Windows Mail, Thunderbird, ect.).
Q: What should my mesaairnet.com email settings look like?
A: Ok here are a few things
to check. Most of these settings are under a "Tools" or "Options" menu,
then "Accounts" or Account Settings". Once inside make sure your
looking at the settings for your MesaAirNet email account. It should
look some like "username@mesaairnet.com". Now verify these settings are
correct ...

Q: When should I reset my network equipment?
A: Here's the hard part. I say this becasue if your having issues, your
probably not able to red this page, let alone anythign else. This we
understand, however, maybe someone who needs this will stumble upon
this and ... anyways.
First off, though you may have ben told this before, you don't need
restart your computer first. Here is the order in which the equipment
should be rebooted.
- Power cycle Customer Unit
- Power cycle wireless router
- Reboot Computer
1. Pull the power cord from the Wireless unit POE (Power Over Ethernet)
for 15 -20 seconds then plug back in and wait for about one minute for
the unit to boot back up and reconnect to the network.
a.The POE is the
power box for the outside unit. Now we do have a a few differnet types
of equipment out on the network, so here are a few quick discriptions
on what the POE looks like. If your outside unit is ...
1. White and about 19" in width, the POE should be a little white
box with a green light in the center and an ethernet cord plugged into
each side and rounded edges.
2. Light brown and about 17" in width, the POE should be a little white
box with flashing green light in the center of it and square
edges.
